SportMascots.com is an independent fan site about the mascots of North American pro sports. It has been online since 2015 and covers mascots from Major League Baseball, the NBA, the NFL and the NHL, plus Olympic mascots.
What you’ll find here
Our mascot pages cover team mascot histories, including debut dates, name origins and performers when that information is public. The league pages bring together the mascots we’ve covered for each league.
How we check facts
We check names, dates and numbers against official team and league sources and published news coverage. Updated pages link to their sources. Each reviewed page shows the date of its last review.
Corrections
Mascots change. Teams retire characters, add new ones and sometimes bring old favorites back. If you spot something that’s wrong or out of date, email info(at)sportmascots.com and tell us which page. We’ll check it and correct any errors we find.
Not affiliated with any team
SportMascots.com isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any team or league. Team names, logos and mascots belong to their owners.
