Philadelphia Flyers
The Philadelphia Flyers are a member of the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Hockey League (NHL). The team was founded in 1967 as an expansion team and has won two Stanley Cup championships, in 1974 and 1975. The Flyers are known for their physical, aggressive style of play and have a passionate fanbase, who are often referred to as the “Flyers Faithful.” The team plays their home games at the Wells Fargo Center and their mascot is Gritty, a fuzzy orange creature with googly eyes.
